The Ultra Alpaca Tonals are in store. This yarn offers an added dimension of subtle monochromatic tonal variations to the Ultra Alpaca and works great for more casual knits.

Vintage DK opens up a world of opportunities to knit Berroco colours AND have the added bonus of Machine wash care in the finished garment! Vintage is a superb alternative to 100% wool yarn and it can be used effectively for any DK patterns you have on hand.

One last Berroco highlight is Origami. "Origami consists of many multicoloured strands running parallel to each other, wrapped in a thin binder and it knits into a remarkably light and crisp fabric."

Nantucket Bags

How do you keep your knitting "tools" organised and ready to hand, as well as safe-guarding your latest project? One of our favourite answers is the "Diddy Bag".

These versatile bags come in a range of colours, have dozens of pockets to organise needs, scissors, etc, and great capacity for yarn. The bags can be "assembled" either with pockets on the inside or outside depending on your preference. (Assembly is simply unzipping and rezipping!)

In our books, these are a "must" for every knitter.

Berroco; Colour, Softness and Quality

In the past year we have added to our selection of yarns with a variety of Berroco offerings. Berroco is known for its dynamic colour palette, as well divinely soft texture and quality at a reasonable cost.

If you've never felt Ultra Alpaca, we suggest you come in and see for yourself. This yarn is a high quality blend of 50% wool and 50% alpaca fibers, making it soft and lightweight and a shear(!) delight to work with. It works with almost any worsted to aran gauge pattern and has great meterage(198/100g) for a great price.....And in case you prefer a finer gauge knit we also offer Ultra Alpaca Fine which works well for socks, shawls and more!

Cascade Pima Cotton is a summertime dream come true. This 100% cotton yarn is put up in generous 100g hanks. It is smooth and fresh and will feel like summer in your hands. Our colour selection offers something for every sensibility, from pretty pastels to elegant neutrals and earthy organics.
